THREAD=M12. The SBPFT bearing is a three-bolt pressed steel triangular flange housed bearing unit, known for its lightweight and cost-effective design suitable for light-duty applications. Material : The housing is made from pressed steel strips, which are typically zinc-plated for protection against corrosion. This makes the unit significantly lighter than traditional cast iron units. The insert is a deep groove ball bearing made from Gcr15 (AISI 52100) bearing steel for the inner and outer rings and rolling elements. It has a spherical outer surface, which allows it to swivel within the housing. The bearing features contact-type seals on both sides to prevent the ingress of dirt, water, and foreign matter, ensuring a longer service life.
