THREAD=M5X0.8.The U 00 bearing is a light-duty, self-aligning insert ball bearing with a setscrew locking, primarily used in compact machinery applications. The outer surface of the bearing is spherical, which allows it to align within a correspondingly shaped housing bore to accommodate initial misalignment. Material : The inner and outer rings, as well as the balls, are made from high-quality GCr15 (AISI 52100) chrome steel. The housing is often a zinc alloy for the U00 series, which is lightweight and suitable for light loads. The bearing is secured to the shaft using a wide inner ring and two set screws positioned 120 degrees apart, which are tightened against the shaft.
