THREAD=M5x0.8. The SS-SB is a normal-duty stainless steel radial insert ball bearing featuring a flat back profile and grub screw (set screw) locking mechanism. Traditional insert bearings feature an inner ring that extends out symmetrically on both sides. The "Flat Back" profile eliminates the extension on the rear side. This creates a completely flush rear face, allowing it to sit tight against neighboring components like gears, pulleys, or rollers where space is restrictive. The front extended lip of the inner ring houses two grub screws placed at a 120-degree orientation. Tightening these screws digs them firmly into the shaft steel, preventing the inner race from slipping under dynamic loads. Material : Manufactured from high-grade, corrosion-resistant AISI 420C Stainless Steel paired with certified food-grade synthetic lubrication and nitrile rubber (NBR) seals. Features are : Self-Aligning Spherical Outer Race, Integrated Anti-Rotation Pin, Optimized Shaft Tolerance Fitment, Acoustic & Vibration Dampening, Low Elastic Deformation Threshold, Broad Temperature Operational Range. Applications : Food & Beverage Processing Machinery, Agriculture, Harvesting & Farming Equipment, Semiconductor Processing Tools, Printing, Packaging, & Converting Systems.
