The GS series is a housing locating washer for cylindrical and needle roller thrust bearings, designed to provide a reliable raceway surface and secure axial positioning within a housing bore. It is not a complete bearing on its own but a component of a full thrust bearing assembly. It is precisely machined and ground to ensure high running accuracy, durability, and resistance to deformity under heavy axial loads. This washer serves as a raceway surface for the rolling elements in applications where adjacent machine components cannot serve this purpose.
