The RFV bearing is a full-complement, stud-type guide roller from the "Base-Line" series, engineered for high radial loads and shock resistance in linear motion systems, designed to run on a flat counter track rather than being mounted in a housing bore. It lacks a traditional bearing cage, allowing for a greater number of rolling elements. This design choice maximizes the radial load capacity and shock resistance, though it results in lower maximum rotational speeds compared to caged variants. The outer ring is robustly constructed to withstand high radial loads and direct contact stresses when used on guide tracks. The design enables the absorption of axial loads that can arise from minor misalignment or alignment errors in both directions. Material: The bearing is typically made from standard bearing steel, such as Chrome Steel GCr15.
