THREAD (M8). The Nadella RAS series is a specialized, ready-to-install concentric floating guide roller used as a component within Nadella's linear motion systems (specifically the LS 43 C-Line). It is designed to accommodate system misalignments and handle radial loads, ensuring smooth and reliable linear movement. The RAS bearing is not a general-purpose bearing but a specific guide roller assembly with an integrated double-row ball bearing. It's designed to be used as one of a pair of rollers in a floating configuration to compensate for potential parallelism or height errors in the guide rail installation. The key feature of the "floating" (as part of a system with other fixed elements) or "concentric" (fixed position on its pin) design is its ability to allow a certain degree of self-alignment, with a maximum possible tilting angle of ± 1.5° for the carriage, preventing binding or excessive wear.
