THREAD (M12 x 1.5). The PFV bearing is a ball-bearing stud type track roller or cam follower, of which the rolling elements combine low friction with high precision. Cam followers are designed for use with various types of tracks. Thanks to a thick-walled outer ring, they can withstand high radial loads. Instead of an inner ring, they feature a solid, threaded stud, enabling easy mounting. Axial loads due to alignment errors or misalignment can be absorbed in both directions. They are not mounted in a housing bore, but a flat (counter) track provides support. These bearing has a full complement design. The absence of a cage allows for a greater number of rolling elements, making this cam follower radially highly loadable. Full complement cam followers are also more shock-resistant than cam followers with a cage. However, the maximum rotational speed is lower than that of caged variants. Common applications of cam followers include conveyor systems, linear guidance systems, and cam mechanisms.
