Details

The CCFD is a high-capacity, heavy-duty stud-type cam follower bearing. It is engineered specifically for demanding industrial automation and material handling structures where traditional needle roller bearings cannot survive the extreme mechanical stresses. Unlike standard needle cam followers that use a separator cage, the CFD series utilizes a complete row of large cylindrical rollers packed tightly together. This design maximizes the internal steel-on-steel contact area to transfer extreme radial and sudden shock loads. This slight curvature prevents "edge loading" stresses if the structural track tracks out of perfect parallel alignment, distributing weight evenly across the centre of the roller path.
