The Nadella RAXN series is a combined needle roller bearing designed to simultaneously support both radial and axial loads. It is a heavy-duty, integral unit suitable for applications that require high precision and robustness. The RAXN series combines a needle thrust bearing (or roller thrust bearing) and a needle cage in a single outer ring. This integrated design simplifies storage, handling, and fitting. The thrust bearing and needle cage operate independently, which prevents any interaction that could harm precise axial and radial rotation. The bearing can be used without inner rings or thrust plates, provided the shaft journals that serve as raceways are sufficiently hard and smooth.
