Details

The Guiderol GR series is a heavy-duty, machined race full complement radial needle roller bearing. It is designed for applications where high radial stiffness and extreme radial load-carrying capabilities are required within a compact or restricted mounting space. The rollers are uniquely undercut on their outside diameters on each side of the center. This forms a precise circumferential groove that meshes with a guide rail inside the housing, minimizing roller skewing and friction without the need for a traditional cage or retainer. Containing no cage, the entire internal volume of the race is packed with needle rollers. Unlike thin-walled drawn cup bearings, the outer ring is precision-machined from thick alloy steel to withstand severe radial stress, shock loads, and high-frequency oscillating environments.
