The Nadella FCBN-K is a lightweight, drawn cup roller clutch (one-way bearing) from Nadella's light series, designed to transmit torque in a single direction in compact industrial applications. It has a thin-walled, deep-drawn steel outer ring with a series of ramps on its inner diameter. This design allows for a very compact, space-saving arrangement. It uses a full complement of needle rollers as clamping elements, held in place by a plastic cage and individual stainless steel springs. It locks when rotated in one direction (transmitting torque) and allows free movement (overrunning) in the opposite direction. This makes it suitable for indexing, backstopping, and overrunning applications. The outer ring is designed for a secure press-fit into a housing bore, which helps prevent axial and radial displacement. Proper installation requires specialized tools to avoid damage to the thin cup.
