Details

High-Speed reduced ball angular contact bearing, mainly used in machining center spindles. The smaller balls allow the bearing to reach high speeds, and not heat up as much as ordinary bearings. Features are : Since ball slipping is reduced by the gyro-moment at high-speeds, the ball diameter of this type of bearing is smaller than that of a standard angular contact ball bearing. This type of bearing is dimensionally interchangeable with the 7000 Series, and can be used for their replacement. 15° contact angle provided as standard.
