Details

The MCF prefix designates the Metric CAMROL series of stud-type cam followers (i.e. they have a threaded stud mounting). The “A” suffix indicates Asian dimensional standard (as opposed to European / ISO standard metric). This means some dimensions (stud diameter, thread pitch, lengths etc.) conform to Asian metric norms. Thus MCF-A is the stud cam follower in metric sizes with Asian standard dimensions. The crowned outer diameter helps reduce stress concentrations when there is slight misalignment or track deformation. Full complement needle rollers provide high radial load capacity, which is efficient for bearing heavy loads in compact spaces. Black oxide finish gives better corrosion resistance on external surfaces.
