Details

CYR stands for yoke (shaft-mounted) cam followers / rollers. The “S” suffix indicates sealed versions - i.e. these have built-in LUBRI-DISC seals on both sides to retain lubricant and help exclude contamination. These are yoke-type rollers, meaning they mount on a shaft or journal (not via a stud). Roller elements and raceways: chrome bearing steel. External surfaces: black oxide or similar corrosion-resistant finish. Seals help maintain lubricant life and protect internal roller/race elements from external contaminants. Because grease retention is better and contamination ingress reduced, life under harsher conditions is improved. Sealed versions require less frequent relubrication compared to open counterparts. Heavy cross-sectioned outer race helps resist shock loads common in cam / track follower applications.
