Details

C = Crowned (outer roller surface is slightly convex / crowned). CYR = Yoke-type (shaft / journal mounted) cam follower / roller. S = Sealed version — includes LUBRI-DISC seals on both ends to retain lubricant and reduce contaminant ingress. The roller’s O.D. is slightly convex (crowned) to help distribute load, reduce edge stresses, and tolerate slight misalignment. The crowned surface better accommodates slight misalignment and reduces edge loading. Sealed version helps protect internal rollers / raceways from contaminants, improving life in dusty or dirty environments. Yoke mounting provides support from both ends (shaft supports) which reduces bending / deflection risks compared to single-ended support. Heavy outer race and robust design suit heavy shock or intermittent loading conditions.
