McGill CAMROL bearings are full complement needle bearings feature black oxide treated bearing steel, available in two basic mounting styles for use in mechanical automation or linear motion applications. CCF - Cam Follower With Crowned OD, B = Hex Socket. Hexagonal hole is provided in the stud face on selected sizes for use with applications involving bearings mounted in blind holes or with self-locking nuts requiring greater than average thread torque. A screw-driver slot is provided at the flanged end of the stud for the purpose of preventing the stud from turning when the nut is tightened. Screw-driver slot is rounded and in some cases it may be necessary to use a special screw-driver having a rounded edge to hold the stud securely. A crown on the OD of a cam follower bearing can increase bearing life versus a standard cylindrical cam follower. The crown also helps reduce outer skidding in turntable or rotary applications. CCF Series offer Crowned O.D Sealed and Unsealed bearings. Cam followers without LUBRI-DISC seals.
