Details

B = Bushing (i.e. non-metallic internal element instead of needle rollers), CCF = Crowned Cam Follower (i.e. the outer roller surface is crowned / curved to reduce edge loading). S = Sealed (“S”) via LUBRI-DISC® seals on both sides. With sealed construction and bushing interior, these require less frequent lubrication vs open roller followers. The non-metallic bushing and the seals help resist dirt / dust ingress better than bare rollers in many environments. The crowned outer surface helps mitigate edge loading due to small misalignments. Sliding contact in a good bushing often produces quieter operation (depending on load / speed) compared to roller contact.
