MCGILL BCCF-1 3/4-S is a cam followers with inner diameter 19.05 mm, outer diameter 44.45 mm, width 25.40 mm and length 70.60 mm. Additional specifications include bore type CYLINDRICAL, seal YES, cage STANDARD and lubrication STANDARD.
B = Bushing (i.e. non-metallic internal element instead of needle rollers), CCF = Crowned Cam Follower (i.e. the outer roller surface is crowned / curved to reduce edge loading). S = Sealed (“S”) via LUBRI-DISC® seals on both sides. With sealed construction and bushing interior, these require less frequent lubrication vs open roller followers. The non-metallic bushing and the seals help resist dirt / dust ingress better than bare rollers in many environments. The crowned outer surface helps mitigate edge loading due to small misalignments. Sliding contact in a good bushing often produces quieter operation (depending on load / speed) compared to roller contact.Related
