These bearing is a high-performance 500 Series Flexible Drive Coupling Hub featuring a Special Steel Bushing and Clamp configuration. This "Per Print" part is designed for high-stress industrial applications where standard magnesium hubs might suffer from wear or failure. Often used in heavy-duty drive systems, such as motor home pump drives (e.g., Beaver Motor Homes) or hydraulic pump-to-engine connections where alignment is difficult to maintain and standard hubs might fail. Material : Combines a lightweight magnesium alloy hub body with a hardened steel bushing. This design provides the weight-saving benefits of magnesium (76% lighter than cast iron) while using steel to enhance the strength and wear resistance of the spline teeth or bore.
