The WS series is a specialized, high-precision shaft locating washer designed for use in cylindrical and needle roller thrust bearing assemblies. It is a separate component that facilitates easy mounting and centering in high-speed applications while being manufactured from durable bearing steel to handle significant axial loads. The WS bearing is to provide a hardened, precision-ground raceway surface for the rolling elements when the adjacent machine component (the shaft shoulder) is not suitable to act as a raceway.
