Details

RJZM is a series of linear plain bearings or closed bushing style plain bushings. Closed means the bushing is enclosed (not open & slotted), so it fully surrounds the shaft on all sides, providing better containment of the bearing liner and often better protection. These bearings use liner material (usually a polymer or self-lubricating plastic) rather than rolling elements. Thus sliding contact between shaft and liner.Commonly used with a housing or adapter (sometimes aluminium) that holds the liner; sometimes with retaining clips. Liner materials have maximum long-term temperature limits (for iglide R or J variants ~ +90 °C or above depending on variant) and short-term peaks higher.Often more compact cross-section and simpler design, especially for long travel or when dust/debris would damage ball bearings. Lower maintenance and Quieter and smoother in many cases (sliding contact). Able to handle dust, contaminants better if liner is of polymer and the bearing is closed.
