Details

It is a linear slide bearing or plain bushing type, using a polymer liner inside an aluminum adapter, intended for self-lubricating, low maintenance operation. Often used as a replacement or alternative for recirculating ball bearings in linear motion systems when lower noise, simpler design, or better performance in dusty and contaminant environments is desired. It uses a polymer liner (iglide J), no external lubrication is typically required. The long-term temperature limit is about +90 °C, and short-term peaks can go higher.
