The MAM series aims to provide higher rigidity, better load capacity, and longer travel life than conventional ball bushings. The bearings patented ball control technology eliminates binding and chatter (stick-slip), common with high friction, plain bearings. It is designed to reduce bending & deflection under load. These are round-shaft linear bearings, meaning they use a cylindrical shaft (round rail) and the MAM bearing slides along it using recirculating balls. Higher rigidity & lower deflection: Compared to some simpler ball bushings, the MAM design is optimized for stiffer response. Sealed versions guard against contamination and grease leakage, improving lifespan in hostile environments. Self-aligning variants reduce binding when shaft alignment is imperfect. WW : Double integral wipers for sealing, OP : Open-type version.
