Details

GMN freewheel clutch insert element, designed for applications requiring a one-way clutch function. It's characterized by a sprag-type mechanism, which transmits power in one direction while allowing freewheeling in the opposite direction. The FRN-M series features are space-saving design, high torque capacity, high-speed swivel motion, high-precision positioning, and minimal moment of inertia. FRN series freewheel clutches are used in various applications, including indexing, backstopping (preventing reverse rotation), and overrunning (allowing one component to rotate freely while another is driven). They can be lubricated with either oil or grease. M : Meander Spring, Sealed.
