FAG is a single row angular contact ball bearing. These bearings have solid inner- and outer rings. X-life bearings with their special internal construction provide greater performance than normal angular contact ball bearings. Contact surfaces, steel grade and rolling bodies are of a higher quality. X-life bearings combine a higher load capacity with a longer service life. The bearings generate less heat and higher speeds are possible. X-life bearings have a longer maintenance interval than normal angular contact ball bearings. Universal angular contact ball bearings with the same deviation in inner ring bore and outer diameter can be combined for use in different arrangements. Single row angular contact ball bearings can support high radial forces and axial forces in one direction. The greater the contact angle, the greater the axial load capacity of the bearing.
