BEARING INSERT NO= VS-236. The VFCS is a high-performance, medium-duty, four-bolt piloted flange cartridge ball bearing unit manufactured by Browning. It provides exceptional concentricity and structural support for heavy-duty industrial rotating shafts. Standard set screws often back out under cyclic vibration. Browning solves this by zone-hardening the inner race and utilizing proprietary diamond-cut tips angled at a 120° footprint to maximize shaft grip without causing severe galling. Material : It features a rugged cast iron housing finished in powder-coat epoxy, an inner core made of high-purity 52100 chrome steel, and a protective nitrile rubber single-lip contact seal paired with a steel flinger.
