BEARING INSERT NO= LS-115. The SSF3S is a light-duty, three-bolt flanged ball bearing unit designed to support rotating shafts that run perpendicular to the mounting surface. It features a lightweight, two-piece stamped steel housing that nests a round a high-grade, pre-lubricated bearing insert. The outer ring of the bearing insert and the internal cavity of the steel housing are both spherically ground. This allows the internal bearing to pivot up to +/- 1.5 degrees to automatically correct for shaft misalignment or structural flexing. Material : The unit features a zinc-chromate plated stamped steel housing paired with a black-oxide 52100 chrome steel insert that is fully enclosed by a nitrile rubber contact seal and metal flinger.
