SQ77 = Isolated Up To 500 Volt. C3 refers to internal radial clearance greater than the “normal” clearance (CN). In other words, C3 means there is extra internal play / looseness in the radial clearance direction to allow for thermal expansion, misalignment, etc. This is common in motor bearings, where temperature variation is expected, so having a bit more clearance helps avoid excessive preload or binding as things heat up. They are equipped with a machined brass cage (M) for superior strength and durability.
