SWC offers variouse products suitable for high temperature applications. In order to choose the right bearing, the temperature as well as the speeds and the load ratings have to be taken into account.

  • High-temp Deep Groove Ball Bearings

Coated bearings for extreme temperatures and slow speeds

    HT1 (< 350°C)  SWC High-temp Deep Groove Ball Bearings with the suffix HT1 are filled with a high-temp paste,
which hardens after reaching a certain temperature and leaves a powder.

Bearings lubricated with HT1 are suitable for slow speeds and temperatures up to 350°C,
but have to be relubricated or replaced after 12 to 18 months depending on the application.

All HT1 bearings are available open, with shield on one (ZR) or both sides (2ZR).

  •     HT2 (< 280°C)

SWC High-temp Deep Groove Ball Bearings with the suffix HT2 are filled with a special grease.

Bearings lubricated with HT2 are suitable for slow speeds and temperatures up to 280°C.
Depending on the application, these bearings allow maintenance-free operation up to 5 years.

All HT2 bearings are available open, with shield on one (ZR) or both sides (2ZR).

  •     HT2X (< 320°C)

SWC High-temp Deep Groove Ball Bearings with the suffix HT2X are filled with a special grease.

Bearings lubricated with HT2X are suitable for slow speeds and temperatures up to 320°C.
Depending on the application, these bearings allow maintenance-free operation up to 5 years.

All HT2X bearings are available open, with shield on one (ZR) or both sides (2ZR).

  •     HT3 (< 300°C)

SWC High-temp Deep Groove Ball Bearings with the suffix HT3 are filled with a solid compound.
While running, small particals of the compound come lose and lubricate the bearing continously.

Bearings filled with HT3 are suitable for slow speeds and temperatures up to 300°C.
Depending on the application, these bearings allow maintenance-free operation up to 6 years.

All HT3 bearings are only available with shields on both sides (2ZR).

  •     T200

SWC Deep Groove Ball Bearings with the Suffix T200 are in compliance with the FAG S1 standard and suitable for fast speeds and temperatures up to 200°C.

  •     T250

SWC Deep Groove Ball Bearings with the Suffix T250 are in compliance with the FAG S2 standard and suitable for fast speeds and temperatures up to 250°C.

 

Stainless Steel Deep Groove Ball Bearings:

For high temperatures, including food grade lubricant

  •     T250 (VSR) 

SWC Stainless Steel Deep Groove Ball Bearings with the Suffix T250 are made of a high-grade
stainless steel, equipped with 2 Viton seals (2VSR) and suitable for fast speeds
and temperatures up to 250°C.

  •     T280

SWC Stainless Steel Deep Groove Ball Bearings with the Suffix T280 are made of a high-grade
stainless steel, equipped with 2 stainless steel shields (2ZR) and suitable for fast speeds
and temperatures up to 280°C.

  •     T320

SWC Stainless Steel Deep Groove Ball Bearings with the Suffix T320 are made of a high-grade
stainless steel, equipped with 2 stainless steel shields (2ZR) and suitable for fast speeds
and temperatures up to 320°C.

  • Stainless Steel Thin Section Ball Bearings

For high temperatures, including food grade lubricant

  •     T280

SWC Stainless Steel Thin Section Ball Bearings with the Suffix T280 are made of a high-grade
stainless steel, equipped with 2 stainless steel shields (2ZR) and suitable for fast speeds
and temperatures up to 280°C.

All T280 Stainless Steel Thin Section Ball Bearings come with the following benefits:

  • High-temp Radial Insert Ball Bearings

High-temp Radial Insert Ball Bearings are especially coated bearings with an increased radial clearance. These products are usually used in applications with very high temperatures and slow speeds.

SWC offers three different greasing options as standard:

SWC High-temp Radial Insert Ball Bearings with the suffix HT1 (< 350°C)     HT2 (< 280°C)  HT2X (< 320°C are filled with a high-temp paste,
which hardens after reaching a certain temperature and leaves a powder.

Bearings lubricated with HT1 (< 350°C)     HT2 (< 280°C)     HT2X (< 320°C are suitable for slow speeds and temperatures up to280 to 350°C,

All High-temp Radial Insert Ball Bearings come with the following benefits:

Increased radial clearance (multiple of C5) as compensation for temperature-induced deformations of the production goods (rails, transport units)
